Writing Prompt #6

You have probably already been doing this mentally, so list the technology you have at your fingertips. Once it’s in black and white (or whatever color you choose!), it’s easier to consider.

  • What is in your room? What do you have that you have not used fully?
  • Next, list what is available to you outside your room. What do you need to do to be able to access it?
  • Did your school pay for the video streaming package? Have you browsed it and bookmarked clips to use with specific units?
  • List units that you could easily add a technology component to—either on your part or your students.
As you think of things, keep your lists going so you can refer back to it after your brain is saturated. Read over everyone else’s list and borrow ideas! Remember, no matter what the grade level—everything can be adapted.
